We are open six days a week, from Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., because we know that your pet’s health does not always fit neatly into a weekday schedule.

Alpha Animal Hospital is a full-service veterinary clinic, equipped to handle a wide range of medical, surgical, and preventive care needs for dogs and cats. Our in-house capabilities include digital X-ray, an ultrasonic dental scaler, tonometry for eye pressure assessment, in-house blood and urine testing, and a full surgical suite.
Our services include preventive care and vaccinations, medical services for a broad range of internal health conditions, surgical services from routine spay and neuter to orthopedic and soft tissue procedures, pet diagnostics, dental care, urgent and same-day care during clinic hours, wellness programs for every life stage, nutrition counseling, end-of-life care, and medical grooming. We also provide international health certificates for pets traveling abroad, and we work with Trupanion direct billing, Pets Plus Us, and all major pet insurance providers.

Our front desk team greets every pet and family with warmth and takes pride in making each visit as smooth and comfortable as possible. Our veterinary assistants support every procedure with skill and attentiveness, ensuring that patients are calm, monitored, and cared for throughout their time with us. Our team includes staff who have been part of Alpha Animal Hospital for years, and others who are newer to the field and bring fresh energy and a deep enthusiasm for animal health. We are a team that genuinely cares about what happens to your pet, and that shows in the way we work.
We are also proud of the four-legged team members who keep things interesting around the clinic. Charli, our resident kitten, has appointed herself as official greeter and quality control officer, and she takes her responsibilities very seriously.
Alpha Animal Hospital has always been committed to being more than a clinic. We are a part of the Abbotsford community, and we take that role seriously. We honour SPCA certificates, have longstanding partnerships with local animal rescues in the Fraser Valley, and actively support the community’s efforts to care for animals in need. Families who are working with low-income assistance programs or rescue organizations are always welcome here.
We also provide breeder discounts and have supported local adoption organizations including Abby Cat Daddy, CTRS, Endless Pawsabilities, I Helped Save Rescue, and Heart and Soul Rescue. If you are in the process of adopting or fostering a pet, we would be glad to meet them for their first visit.
